Early Learning Strategy Group
The Coalition’s Early Learning Strategy Group also serves as New Britain’s School Readiness Council and seeks to improve outcomes for our youngest residents. The group focuses on analyzing data and developing strategies that ensure young students are developmentally prepared to enter Kindergarten and are ready to learn successfully.
Our Past Projects
- Implemented a pre-kindergarten attendance project.
- Used phonological awareness screening to assess school readiness.
- Supports the ongoing work of the award winning Summer Enrichment Experience.
